How do I get access to Dotfile or resolve access issues? (SSO)

Having Trouble Logging In with SSO?
If you’re trying to sign in to Dotfile with your company login (Single Sign-On) and it’s not working, try these steps to get back in quickly.
1. Check the Basics
Before troubleshooting:
Make sure you’re signing in with your work email address (e.g. you@yourcompany.com).
Try logging in from a private / incognito browser window.
If you’re using a company laptop or VPN, check that you’re connected to the internet and your VPN is on if required.
Clear your cache and cookies
Check our status page (https://status.dotfile.com/)
2. Common Fixes
You’re Stuck in a Login Loop or Redirected to the Password Page
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then try again.
Make sure you started the login from your company’s Dotfile login page (the one your IT team gave you).
If you normally click “Sign in with Google,” use that option instead of entering your email manually.
“Account Not Found” or “You Don’t Have Access”
Double-check you’re using the correct work email (spelling and domain).
Your account may not have been created yet — contact your company admin or IT team to confirm access.
If you recently joined the company, your SSO access might not be active yet.
“Login Failed” or “Something Went Wrong”
Close all Dotfile tabs and try again in a new browser window.
If you use multiple Google accounts, log out of all of them first — then sign in with your work Google account only.
Try another browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge, or Safari) or disable browser extensions that might block redirects or cookies.
“Session Expired” or “Token Expired”
Refresh the page and try again.
If it keeps happening, clear cookies for dotfile.com.
Make sure your computer’s date and time are set automatically and are correct.
Network or VPN Issues
If you’re on a company network or VPN, try disconnecting temporarily.
Some firewalls block SSO login pages — try from a personal network to test.
Ask your IT team to whitelist:
Your identity provider (e.g. https://accounts.google.com)
3. Still Can’t Log In?
If none of the above works:
Take a screenshot of the error (if you can).
Note the exact time you tried to log in.
Contact your company’s IT team first — they can usually fix SSO access quickly.
If they confirm everything looks fine, email Dotfile Support at support@dotfile.com with:
Your name and company

The browser you’re using
We’ll review the login attempt and help get you back in.
